HERE IS ALWAYS SOMEWHERE ELSE

A project involving influences from both poet Seamus Heaney and my previous experimentation with slow shutter speed photography. I wanted to create feeling-heavy images that were emotionally stimulating. Seamus Heaney and his interest in Dantes inferno was what influenced me first of all. I wanted to create images that were stimulating and involved feelings that he felt during the writing of his collection Field Work. Working with long exposure and a DSLR I created images of long exposures in water with mood lighting from nearby street lights.
